Many victims state that after the Power Pressure Cooker completed its cooking cycle, they moved the steam valve to make sure no steam came out. They then opened the lid, and the lid popped off and caused liquid from inside the pressure cooker to explode all over them.

Tristar appears to recognize that there is an issue with the float valve indicator system, but they have not publicly advised any prior owners of this issue.
