Who can Bring a Lawsuit in Florida for Wrongful Death?

Florida Statute section 768.20 defines who has the right to bring a wrongful death case in Florida. The action must be brought by the decedent’s personal representative, who shall recover for the benefit of the decedent’s survivors and estate all damages caused by the injury resulting in death.
