Are Courts of Law Still Open in my Area? Will my Court Date be Rescheduled? What if I Can’t Come to Court Because I’m Sick or Quarantined?

Courts are open, and the system of justice is continuing to run. Many Courts have changed their rules to adapt to the post-COVID-19 world, including allowing hearings by video conferencing or telephone. Several attorneys at the Law Offices of Jason Turchin have already participated in court hearings post-COVID-19. If you are sick or quarantined, many judges will allow telephonic hearings.

Will Scheduled Depositions, Mediation, Arbitration, or Settlement Negotiations Occur as Planned?

We intend on continuing with depositions, mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations as planned. In fact, the Law Offices of Jason Turchin was part of the first virtual mediation in the country for one of the largest mediation companies, and the case settled! We continue to sign up new cases, prosecute existing cases, and settle pending cases.

At the Law Offices of Jason Turchin, we already adapted to the post-COVID-19 world and continue to handle cases as aggressively as possible for our clients. If you were hurt or a loved one died because of someone else’s negligence, our Florida injury lawyers can continue pursuing claims to fight for the justice you deserve, no matter what is happening in the world.
